An illustrated poetry object-book about daily life, lights and shadows we keep inside.

‘Tinta en verso’ – Ink in verse – consists of a poetry book-object illustrated and written by myself. A combination of my thoughts about life, pain and happiness with the purpose of transmitting emotions and call to reflection.
The book is inspired by casual objects which represent the simplicity of life. Combining design, photography, illustration and poetry, the book creates a full experience.

Packaging
The design is developed to be an experience. It incorporates different types of papers and a little bag filled with eucalyptus leaves to play with different senses.

Concept
The book concept is a cassette tape and it’s divided into two sides, so once you finish the first one, you turn it over and start the other side.

Side A
Side A is about pain, darkness, fears and broken hearts. It represents the ghost we keep inside.

Side B
Side B is about happiness, memories, fantasy and imagination. It brings the good little things life has got.
